| favorably to the larger size. Remember you arent simply adding a measly inch in each direction at the rim, that inch corresponds in a significant increase in area... stock surface area ~ 201 sq. inches 18" stockers ~ 254 sq. inches over 25% increase in "wheel area" the stockers are an attractive design that works well at 16" because they dont take up as much of the wheel/tire overall diameter. Basically the sidewall balances it out when you look at them. But shrink that sidewall in half with 18" wheels and the large increase in the wheel portion of the overall diameter would be quite unflattering. The only 18's that look good are the ones with lower surface areas, like almost every member here has; modas, LMs, the ADR's, AMEANZ's is the only wheel with lots of surface that actually pulls it off and looks good (they were 18's right?), but his incorporate a very classic styling, there is nothing classic about the stock Z32 wheels. They were designed to be seen on one type of car and are attractive to no one but Z fans. I'd like to see the photoshop of it too, but we all know photos are no way to actually get the feel for how a wheel will look in person, there is a big difference. I cant explain it but it's true. thats alot more area being covered by the alloys, and yes I said even with the holes increasing proprtionately, I mean that is a given or else it would look especially terrible AND disproportionate.
